Arknights: Endfield — Steam (store.steampowered.com)

Endfield isn't Arknights' tower-defense math anymore — it's a real-time ARPG built around elemental Inflictions and Arts reactions, so raw operator power means less than how well a kit slots into a team. We tested and cross-checked across Industry, Combat, and Tactical roles, weighting operators that scale into endgame Talos Sectors content over ones that just look flashy in a solo showcase. A "lower-tier" operator with perfect reaction synergy can still outperform an S-tier pick in the wrong comp — keep that in mind as you read.

S-Tier

  • Arcane — sits at the top of the meta because she does two jobs at once: her INT Form puts out hypercarry-level damage, while her WILL Form pivots into a flexible support that layers Inflictions, debuffs, and crowd control. Few operators offer this much team-building freedom in a single unit.
  • Rossi — originally a Full Arts specialist, but the arrival of Mi Fu and Camille unlocked hybrid setups for her, and she now performs at a high level across multiple team archetypes instead of just one.
  • Mi Fu — the enabler that made Rossi (and several other Arts-focused kits) genuinely flexible; a support whose value shows up in other operators' numbers more than her own.

A-Tier

  • Tangtang — the best Cryo-team operator right now: SP-efficient Inflictions, Susceptibility application, solid raw damage, and an Ultimate that immobilizes bosses outright.
  • Gilberta — a consistent, low-maintenance damage source that doesn't need a perfect team around her to perform, which makes her a safe investment for players still building their roster.
  • Camille — the second half of what pushed Rossi (and hybrid Arts teams generally) into top-tier territory; strong on her own, stronger as a piece of a bigger puzzle.
  • Zhuang Fangyi — reliable Combat-role damage that scales well into mid-to-late Talos Sectors content without needing niche support pairings.

B-Tier

  • Perlica — solid utility and respectable damage, but outclassed by S-tier picks in any team that can afford to replace her.
  • Single-element Combat operators without Infliction synergy — fine early, but Endfield's reaction system rewards operators that set up or trigger Inflictions, and pure single-target damage kits fall behind as content demands team-wide elemental coverage.

C-Tier

  • Early Tactical-role operators with narrow kits — useful for clearing the first Sectors, then quickly replaced once better Infliction-enablers or hypercarries join the roster.
  • Industry-leaning operators used outside their intended role — strong at what they're built for (base and resource systems), weak when forced into a frontline combat slot.

The takeaway

Don't build around whoever tops the S-tier list in isolation — Endfield punishes that approach. Pick one Infliction-setter, one operator that detonates the reaction, and one flexible support like Arcane or Mi Fu, and you'll clear more content than a roster of disconnected "strong" units. Rossi and Camille are the clearest proof: neither was S-tier alone, but together they redefined a whole team archetype.
